HISTORY…

    Jubilee Church started as a result of a family seeking God for direction because they were tired of church as usual. The church Pastor David and Geraldine had been serving in as elders at the time had recently shut its doors. It was a very difficult time. So they said, “Okay God, what do we do now?” And prayer was the answer.  So Pastor David and Geraldine, along with their family, began to pray.

 

    Many wonderful things happened during those 3 years.  In the beginning we didn’t realize what we were birthing.  We were just a family hungry for a move of God.  God began to do a work in us that surpassed what we could ever imagine at the time. We were seeking for direction and more of Him and in return He led us to begin a ministry. Jubilee Church was established in October of 1990.

 

    Our first service was in the building we are currently in today. We have done many building improvements since that first service. We added on the gym in 2000 because we were growing and needed the room for fellowship. Also we totally remodeled the sanctuary in 2005 getting rid of the pews and adding chairs. At Jubilee Church we are continually preparing for growth. We strive for excellence in everything we do.  We want God’s best for his people.

 

PURPOSE…

    Jubilee Church is a place where the hurting, depressed and confused can find love, acceptance, help, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement. Our mission is to see people set free to maturity. Our method is by teaching the Word of God without compromise and through anointed praise and worship. Our vision is to win souls and make disciples. We are called to help people that other churches might turn away. God has anointed us to preach the good news to the poor, mend the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to the captives, and release prisoners from darkness. Our goal is for you to join us on this mission and together see God’s Kingdom arise on earth.

 

    At Jubilee Church we experience the presence of God at every service. We are known for anointed praise and worship and the Word of God being preached without compromise. We have Pastors that have a heart for God and hear His voice. We have leaders that serve with integrity and compassion. Our church is made up of all ages, backgrounds and races. We are growing together as a body to be everything God’s called us to be so we can become disciples and impact our community.

   Even though we have been here for 22 years in some ways we feel like we are just getting started. We are establishing things and setting structure in place because we know what God has called us to accomplish. God declared to us from the beginning, “It’s not by might, it’s not by power by it’s by My Spirit.” We know God is moving by His spirit in this hour. The best is yet to come.

 

   Here at Jubilee Church we have something for everyone.  We have a vision for discipleship by training our leaders to be disciples by making disciples. We have a youth group that is Extreme for God and is fighting to change their generation. We have a children’s ministry that builds a good foundation of faith through the Word. We are here to help people grow and be all that God has called them to be... so join us!
